McNasty Series

The McNASTY Series of blades is named to honor James “McNasty” McNiece, a US Army paratrooper and leader of the “Filthy Thirteen,” a irregular but elite paratrooper unit which was instrumental in a number of vital combat missions during WWII. The Filthy Thirteen were the inspiration for the 1965 and 1967 movie "The Dirty Dozen."

Like all Fisher Blades knives, the McNasty blades are Purpose-First designed as defensive/self-protection knives, with a focus on thrusting techniques. With three different models, each has a specific use/user case scenario which determines size and functional features.

The McNASTY PK — is intended as a compact, discreet carry self defensive dagger for people with small to large hands. Designed to be carried comfortably in the pocket, the McNASTY PK is a minimally-sized 3.5” blade that can make bad guys leak fast.

The McNASTY FS (Full Size) is our large-format f*<k-off dagger intended for plate carrier molle-mount or belt carry. It accommodates medium to XXL hands and with a 5 inch blade it can reach the main blood pump of bad guys. Check out McNasty FS full specs and stock status.

Our newest addition to the series, the McNASTY GL (Goldilocks) is not too small, not too big. It’s just right. Small enough to comfortably carry in the pocket, but with a larger grip and larger 4.1 inch blade, the GL is for those who have medium to XL hands and want more blade than the PK. The McNASTY GL is scheduled to launch in August 2026.
