Beckwith Covert Magnacut
First I am not a knife expert. I don’t know any real knife fighting skill other than Army basic training long long ago. But I have carried a knife on my person for over fifty years. Started with Camp King pocket knife in Boy Scouts then Buck and Gerber . I still have a Gerber folder I purchased right out of basic training over forty years ago. The knife remains sharp and function great , unfortunately the company not so much. When I purchased the Becker Covert I didn’t think it would change my everyday carry especially since it’s a fixed blade. This knife is absolutely perfect. It’s incredibly light weight. The blade shape means serious business . Razor sharp, and pointy . The handle has the best ergonomic shape I have ever felt on a knife and the G10 is crazy grippy. Jimping perfect . I’m new to Magnacut steel so time will tell. The sheath minimal and clip secures discreetly to the front pocket. This type of carry is also new to me but works well. If you are sitting on the fence about this knife , take the chance! The materials , design , and craftsmanship are second to none. But there is another consideration we all are familiar with and that is integrity . The Fisher blade Co. is rock solid customer focused. They put their heart and soul into these blades and once you put one in your hand you will know what I’m talking about . If the price is giving you second thoughts just remember , craftsmanship , materials, company integrity is second to none.
